Built by Someone Who's Been on the Job Site
Construction Boddy wasn't built in a boardroom. It was built by an engineer who's worked every angle of construction — from major airport projects to running his own excavation crew.
The Problem We're Solving
Every day, construction business owners lose hours to things that have nothing to do with building. The best practices that make major regulated projects run smoothly don't have to stay exclusive to the big players.
- Answering the same questions over and over instead of managing the job
- Chasing crews and subcontractors for updates that should be automatic
- Following up on quotes that should have gone out yesterday
- Coordinating schedules that change every morning with no system to absorb it
- Running a business on WhatsApp, sticky notes, and memory
The Founder
William St-Aubin, ing.
William started in construction at 17. By 20, he was designing residential projects. By 24, he had an engineering degree from École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal — and years of real job site experience already behind him.
His career took him through some of the most demanding construction environments in Quebec. He managed highly regulated projects for major cities, the provincial government, and airports — working both on estimation and directly on site. The coordination required at that scale is intense. The systems, the discipline, the best practices — they work. And they almost never make it down to the SMB contractor running a 5-person crew.
His second major role had him managing large roadworks and bridge projects — again, high-stakes, high-regulation, zero margin for chaos.
Then he did what entrepreneurs do: he built something. His own excavation company, became one of the first real-world proving grounds for what would become Construction Boddy. He wasn't theorizing about contractor pain points — he was living them.
After a decade of working across every scale of construction, the pattern was impossible to ignore: small and medium contractors are doing things the hard way — not because they're bad at their jobs, but because nobody ever gave them the right tools.
Construction Boddy is the answer to that.
